About The TOEFL TEST

The TOEFL or "Test Of English as a Foreign Language" is required for international to get admission in various US universities and colleges for higher studies. Among all international English language exams, TOEFL is the best-known exam.

TOEFL Exam can be given in three different formats:

• Computer Based Testing (CBT): the computer itself selects questions of some sections, from a pool of questions that are classified by difficulty and content.
• Internet Based Testing (iBT): will be delivered through Internet.
• Paper Based Testing (PBT): is a conventional paper based type, which measures, Listening Comprehension, Structure, Written Expression and Reading Comprehension of the candidate.

The TOEFL-CBT test is approximately 4-1/2 hours long, and is divided into four sections on reading, listening, speaking and writing.

TOEFL Scoring

The individual sections are graded separately. You will receive four TOEFL scores ranging from 0 to 30: Reading, Listening, Speaking, and Writing. Total TOEFL score will range from 0 to 120 and is calculated by combining your TOEFL scores on each of the four sections.

The entire test (4 sections on reading, listening, speaking and writing) must be taken to receive a score.
